Land of Dendro, the new story quest of Dendro Archon ‘Kusanali’ and the history of Sumeru brings a lot on the plate for Genshin Impact enthusiasts in the upcoming updates. Known for its vibrant terrain that encompasses both deserts and jungles, it will be featured in the ever-expanding world of Teyvat in the upcoming Patch 3.0 Release. New lively creatures, mechanics, enemies and many more!

Sumeru’s puzzle is filled with interesting components reflecting the aesthetics of flora and fauna. These new problem mechanics can be difficult to learn since they differ greatly from the puzzle-solving strategies employed in Liyue and Mondstat. Fresh new open-world elements will also be introduced to the travelers. What’s new in Genshin Impact’s Sumeru Region?

The Sumeru Adventure Journal released by Hoyoverse indicates the new creatures that will be interactive and play a big role in world mechanics. Also, some new enemies and classes will be introduced in the land of Sumeru as teased by Hoyoverse in volume 4 of Sumeru Adventure Journal.

Scouting the lands of Sumeru, similar to treasure holders but with some new outfit designs and attack kits, the Ermites will be the common enemies in the new nation of Tevyat. The Ermites are so far described under 2 types; Sunfrost and Desert Clearwater; they are a loosely-organized mercenary group that works for anyone who pays up a good count of Mora. The new journal also teases mechanical ruin relics namely; Ruin Drake: Skywatch (ariel attacks and floating kit) and Ruin Drake: Earth guard (similar to Ruin Serpent from the Chasm but smaller).

This leak also introduces the new Tri-Lakshana Creatures. These can morph in response to specific elements and energy triggers. Normal, Activated, and Scorched are its three attributes. When Travelers locate Tri-Lakshana in Sumeru, they may be in Normal mode. Whenever the creature enters in touch with Electro or Pyro, it becomes Activated or Scorched.

The Tri-Yana Seeds, like the Tri-Lakshana Creatures, have 3 phases too. The critter moves along a defined path in regular mode. They will remain stationary once scorched. Finally, when triggered with Electro, they will emit a ‘Truesense Pulse’ that may reveal the whereabouts of some concealed goods. The flower that repairs stamina is another remarkable new species that have been mentioned in the journal. When players acquired a glowing plant in Sumeru, an unknown plant was stated to be able to recover their stamina. According to the depiction, these plants might be found near cliffs or in situations that need a lot of running and climbing.

Many more creatures have been depicted and teased like the ‘Spinocrocodile’ residing near ponds and lakes, the ‘Shaggy Sumpter Beasts’ and the floating hydro fungi too.
