Gillette and 7Sea, an Ampverse portfolio esports team and rising star of the Indian esports scene, have announced a strategic partnership to launch the upcoming ‘Gillette 7Sea Invitational BGMI tournament’, an exciting new Indian esports tournament.

This invitational is an opportunity for the leading Battlegrounds Mobile India teams to compete for a share of the $20,000 prize pool. Gillette is an American grooming brand for men whereas 7SEA eSports is a leading eSports organization based in India, the two have inked a partnership to bring an invitational tournament of BGMI.

Gillette 7Sea Esports Invitational BGMI tournament

The Gillette 7Sea invitational tournament will feature the top 24 BGMI pro teams from across the country competing across the semifinals and finals. The tournament will take place over the course of nine days, with the semifinals happening from March 25 to 29 (March 28 – Monday is a break) and the finals from March 30 to April 3. The top 16 teams from the semifinals will advance to the finals.

The tournament is produced by Skyesports and will be broadcasted via live streaming and re-screening. Viewers can tune into the competition on the 7Sea YouTube, 7Sea Loco, and Skyesports YouTube channels from 1 PM IST onwards. It will be broadcasted in six languages, which are Hindi, English, Bengali, Telugu, Kannada, and Tamil.

Gillette 7Sea Esports BGMI Invitational has already commenced and players can catch the action live from YouTube as well as Loco. The tournament will be concluded on 3rd April with 16 teams striving for the champions trophy.
