God of War Ragnarok release date revealed! Fans excited to play the latest of Kratos in late 2022!

The God of War franchise will be coming out with the latest addition to the series in the form of God Of War Ragnarok later this year.
The release date was recently announced by Santa Monica Studios, the developers behind the infamous game which is now a PlayStation exclusive.

God of War Ragnarok release date
Ever since the last God of War came out in 2018, Kratos fans around the world have been anticipating the release of the next game and it seems they won’t have to wait much longer.
The developers of the game, Santa Monica Studios, have confirmed the release date of the latest addition to the game to be November 9, 2022 and fans couldn’t be happier.
The news comes as a breath of fresh air to fans and to enthusiasts as most were expecting for the game to face multiple delays in its release but that doesn’t seem to be the case just yet.
The God of War series had undergone a soft reboot of sorts when the last game by the title of “The God of War” came out in 2018 which saw more of a Viking themed story.
In the story, the previous Greek God of War, Kratos, decided to move away from his homeland for a peaceful life in Scandinavia where he raised a new family.
When the Gods of the region found out that Kratos, a God Slayer had entered their lands and had married their extended family, they got worries that it might unleash Ragnarok, more commonly known in Norse mythology as the End of Worlds.
The latest in the game franchise will also follow the same storyline as it continues to develop into the death of more Gods in the game, but this time Norse. Will we finally get to see the death of Odin in this game? Only time will tell!
