GTA 6 Setting May Have Been Found, And It Isn’t Vice City

The major setting of GTA 6 may have been uncovered by an astute Grand Theft Auto fan, and if the hypothesis is correct, it isn’t Vice City, the series’ fictional version of Miami, as every rumour and leak has suggested. Instead, players will return to a familiar locale that they haven’t seen since 2008.

When GTA 6 comes out, it appears like players will be able to return to Liberty City, the series’ fictional version of New York City. However, this contradicts every rumour, storey, and leak regarding the game to date. So, what evidence does this idea have? It has to do with a probable GTA 6 tease.

We first reported on a mystery bloodstained notepad with what appears to be a police emblem on the Rockstar Games website promoting Online back in February. Now, it’s tough to make out many details, but the insignia does resemble the Liberty City police department badge, as GTA 6 News & Leaks pointed out on Twitter. It does, but not nearly enough to form any firm conclusions.

Let’s pretend that’s what’s on the notepad; this doesn’t necessarily imply that it will be set in Liberty City. Indeed, it may be a tease for Online Liberty City expansion or remaster, the latter of which is reported to be in the works.

Take all of this supposition with a grain of salt for the time being, as it’s speculation on top of speculation. Of course, Rockstar Games or one of its developers may put an end to the rumours by addressing them, but this is doubtful because the company and its workers never comment on rumours. That said, if expectations are surpassed for any reason, we will update the report to reflect this.
