Sony has hinted at a possible announcement regarding GTA 6

GTA 6 is the most anticipated new game release, only because there is no idea as to when it will release, and it could drop at any time. For years, GTA fans and insiders have been living off of leaks, rumors and theories about what the sixth game will look like and when it will be released.

There’s no official confirmation on GTA 6’s status yet, but fans think they’ve got the best clue as to when new news will be released. Grand Theft Auto’s fanbase is going through a number of emotions after Sony made certain comments about iconic game introduction songs on its own TikTok, and GTA 6 made a feature.

On October 18th, Sony released a TikTok asking for fans’ thoughts on the most iconic intro songs on PS2, featuring the intro screen from GTA San Andreas.

Naturally, fans were obliged to pitch their favorites for the most iconic intro songs, with Kingdom Hearts, Sly Cooper, and Metal Gear all being popular names.

There was, however, a request for an introduction to Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, which is the game before GTA San Andreas. Sony cryptically replied by commenting that the 20th anniversary is just around the corner, and added an eye emoji. This led to intense speculation in the GTA 6 community.

The October 29th celebration of the 20th anniversary of the original GTA: Vice City release would make sense for a possible official reveal of some useful news regarding GTA 6.

Of course nothing has been officially confirmed yet, but many fans know that these eye emojis are something Sony is teasing them with, and knows something about GTA 6 that they look set to reveal to the currently clueless, but hopeful and hardcore fanbase.
