Players can breathe a sigh of relief as Rockstar Games has patched the current security issue on GTA Online.

GTA Online Security patch – Rockstar Games finally resolved the hack exploits issue

Rockstar Games released a 1.66 patch to fix the remote hacking exploits in Grand Theft Auto Online. Players were reluctant to hop into public lobbies due to security issues. Game data miners have uncovered several unsettling facts regarding the nature of exploits as they continue to probe into their workings. A few weeks a famous insider Tez2 reported that hackers were using new types of exploits to tamper with the stats of GTA Online players. These tamperings were leading to a permanent account ban.

Even while that in and of itself is terrible, it might only be the beginning. The Anti-cheat tool, Guardian firewall mod’s developer, Speyedr, warned that the vulnerability might eventually allow remote code execution. It will allow hackers to run malware on any PC running the game. The National Vulnerability Database website, a US Government program, recently tested the exploits. It was found that the danger was more significant than anticipated.

Players can install the security patch and start their inactive businesses again in GTA Online.

Similar games online can also be played using Joe Fortune’s online casino and bitcoin slots. They’re growing because they’re, well, almost as cool as Joe is. Now that cryptocurrency has been around for a number of years, more people are becoming familiar with using it for all kinds of everyday things, including a dose of Joe and his online casino.

After launching GTA 5, you will see an available update. It’s a small 350MB security patch. Despite being a small patch, it fixes the huge problem plaguing GTA Online. Here are the patch details.

Security

  • improved the security of network sessions and player-to-player messaging in GTA Online by implementing a new data protocol.
  • Fixed an issue that could result in a player’s GTA Online experience being modified by a third party, including:
    • altering GTA$ balance, RP level, Bad Sport status, and other player stats
    • manipulation of players being kicked or crashed

Game Stability and Performance

General stability improvements

This implies that Rockstar has fixed every security flaw in the game for a more secure gaming experience for everyone. Players were using the Guardian firewall while playing. Now they can play without a firewall. It’s important to note that these steps won’t completely stop cheating. Although the patch prevents hackers from employing exploits during invite-only sessions, PC players of GTA Online will occasionally still come across typical cases of cheating. GTA 5 mod menus have always been a concern. In essence, they provide cheaters a range of extra possibilities.
