GTA Online to receive major update in December, here are some speculations what it might be

It is tradition that Grand Theft Auto has had two major updates every year, one in summer and one during winter, at Christmas time. These two updates are the biggest ones GTA has throughout the year, with introduction to new characters, drip feed updates of new vehicles and exciting new jobs or even heists. December is coming, with everyone waiting to see what is the new DLC which GTA is going to introduce this time. Countless reliable leaks and teasers have been present across the internet regarding this new update that is coming. There are a lot of interesting things which are speculated by them which would bring exciting new twists and stories.

Based on the calculations considering the schedule of the current GTA+ benefits and rewards, the new update, 16.4 might be released on 13th of December. This is said to be the last major DLC that the old gen consoles (PS4 and XBOX one) are set to receive, with new gen controllers (PS5 and Xbox series X/S) receiving the update too, as well as some exclusive perks similar to how they got the Hao’s Special Works, or the HSW update. This is to move their focus away from older consoles, enabling Rockstar to make way for even bigger updates in the future on these platforms.

Is Michael De Santa coming to GTA Online ?

One of the biggest ongoing speculations is whether or not the players are going to be treated by an appearance of Michael De Santa in the online world. It is high time that Rockstar get him in GTA online, and we are almost positive that he will make an appearance. After Franklin came to GTA with his business in the contract DLC, there have been a lot of hints and name dropping, especially by Franklin during the Contract DLC. Even Ned Luke, the voice actor for Michael, hinted that he is going to make an appearance soon enough. In the contract update we got to know that Michael is currently working in Vinewood, which is like the Hollywood of Los Santos, which means the upcoming update can be a movie DLC.

Another huge addition to the update is speculated to be the chance to create your own music. A lot of verified leakers have confirmed that Rockstar along with its parent company Take Two Interactive is planning to introduce an update, enabling users to create their own music. This would allegedly be called Rapponator, as there are reports of Rockstar buying that particular domain name.

Although Rockstar has not given any official statement as to what the new Christmas update would contain, these speculations could be called educational guesses. Players are waiting for GTA online updates whilst also hoping for Rockstar to release updates or even clues for GTA 6 at this point. Hopefully there are a few hint and teasers in the update 16.4.
