Halo Infinite”s major Big Team Battle update finally drops

According to 343 Industries, the long-awaited fix for the Halo Infinite multiplayer’s Big Team Battle (BTB) game modes has finally arrived.
Since the release of the free-to-play multiplayer last year, the 12 v 12 game mode has been plagued by issues, but now a big patch has been released. When players start the game, it should immediately update.
There are numerous fixes for both the regular multiplayer and the BTB game mode, according to the patch notes and developer statements.

Halo Infinite update:
Members of a player’s fireteam/lobby will now be selected by the green fireteam marker colour in a game of BTB in Halo Infinite, even if they aren’t in the four-player starting lineup. According to community manager John Junyszek, Pelicans will also drop tanks earlier and more frequently.

BTB’s general enhancements also mean that full games should be found faster and more reliably, which was a major issue when the multiplayer first launched in November. A join-in-progress adjustment has also been implemented across the board, ensuring that players are not matched with games that are nearly finished.

Oddball mode has been updated in both Ranked and Arena playlists, with one minute added to a round if it ends in a tie, but the round is ruled a tie if it ties again during extra time. Oddball matches will likewise terminate after two tied rounds, with the team that wins the most rounds being designated the match winner.
The whole Halo Infinite update went live on February 3 and will only take up 1.1GB of your hard drive.
