Twitch streamer Hasanabi recently adopted a puppy and revealed it in a stream earlier. In the reveal stream he finds out that the puppy he adopted belongs to the Tibetan Mastiff dog breed. Upon watching videos about the dog breed, he discovered that his adopted pup is one of the most expensive dogs in the world.

Hasanabi recently streamed on Twitch showcasing his newly adopted puppy. While on stream, he decided to name the puppy Kaya. He found out Kaya is a Tibetan Mastiff and while finding out more about his new canine, he discovered that Tibetan Mastiffs are one the most expensive dog breeds in the world.

A Tibetan Mastiff is a massive furry dog originating from the Tibetan Plateau. The dog is almost as big as a wolf but has a thicker coat of fur compared to the latter. An average Tibetan Mastiff is sold around $4000 -$12,000. There have been instances where the dog breed has been sold for more than $1 million.

Hasan “Hasanabi” Piker is a pretty famous streamer on Twitch with a following of 2.5 million. The recent discovery about his puppy Kaya did not leave the streamer as happy as many people in his place would have been. He explained that this information could be bad, saying, “They’re f***ing expensive, well guess what. New cancellation unlocked, I just realized. Motherf***ers will be like, ‘yeah I know you got this dog from someone else who couldn’t take care of her cause she’s a massive f***ing dog. And I know she’s mixed, but I don’t really care about any of that’. This is the gucci shirt of dogs, is what people will say.” Although Hasanabi’s dog is assumed to be a Tibetan Mastiff, the information isn’t solid.

A month ago, Hasanabi had an IRL stream on his Twitch channel with the premise of adopting a new puppy for himself. He was joined by the likes of Valkyrae, Fuslie and Miyoung, who accompanied him to look for a new furry mutt.

Hasanabi talked about his five year old Pitbull, Fish who passed away during the Covid lockdown. His absence is what made Hasanabi look for a new puppy to adopt. He visited many adoption centers and even helped pay adoption fees for the animals that were getting adopted while on his search. After a month long search Hassanabi finally found Kaya, a puppy he loved and adopted. With the adoption of Kaya, fans can assume that Hasanabi’s “puppy arc” is over.
