Valorant, the first-person shooter game by Riot Games, has been a huge commercial success. Additionally, in the three years following the game’s release, the game has created a substantial player base. Moreover, Valorant is looking at a map pool change. With the start of Episode 8 Season 1, Haven will be leaving the map pool and Icebox will return to the game again.

And this time, with the upcoming Episode 8 Season 1, Valorant’s OG map, Haven, will be out of the active map pool, and Icebox, another one of the game’s OG maps, will be joining the Valorant again, obviously with some major changes. Additionally, Icebox has already had a major revamp a while back. There were many changes in the map, and this time, the map might accompany more changes.

Haven has been in the game since the beta phase. Moreover, Haven is a classic map in Valorant. It laid down the three bomb site meta, which has become one of Valorant’s unique characteristics. Although this lineup can still change depending on Riot Games, Icebox’s return to the game is certain.

Icebox had been absent from the game for a while now. So, this new update is an excellent change of pace for the existing player base, as the new agent ISO has yet to be played on Icebox.
