The most important thing for wizards is their wands. Wizards need their wand to cast spells. Hogwarts Legacy will give you a second-hand wand in the beginning but later you can get a wand of yours with different customizations.

Players can choose the wood type, handle, core, style, length, and flexibility for their wand. There are 42 wand handles hidden in the Hogwarts Legacy. To unlock the wand handle customization, you need to complete the ‘Flying Off the Shelves’ side quest first.

You need to first learn the Accio from Professor Ronen. After that, you can start this quest from Cressida Blume in the hall outside the library.

Among these, the location for the Basketweave – blue, Orbicular – Voilet, Checkboard – Blue, Regal – Black, and Avian – Grey wand handles’ has been known in Hogwarts Legacy.

  • Avian – Grey: Obtained during the “Flying Off The Shelves” side quest.
  • Basketweave – Blue: Found in Professor Fig’s classroom.
  • Checkerboard – Blue: Found at the Faculty Tower, via the southeast stairway.
  • Orbicular – Voilet: Obtained during the “Gobs of Gobstones” side quest.
  • Regal – Black: Found in the basement of the Restricted Section of the Library.

One thing players should keep in mind is that the wand handle customization is all cosmetic and doesn’t change the gameplay. Although you cannot modify your wand after customizing initially, you can change wand handles from the Gear menu anytime.
