The Wizarding World of Hogwarts Legacy features a lot of magical beasts. Hogwarts Legacy’s gameplay revolves heavily around magical beasts. After completing “The Elf, the Nab-Sack, and the Loom’ quest, players can get the ability to capture these magical beasts. In addition to that, you can see beasts as huge as a dragon and as small as a puffskein. Speaking of puffskeins, they are soft enough to snuggle yet tough enough to be tossed around. They are referred to as the perfect pet for wizardkind.

Most of the beasts are kind of easy to locate whereas some are very hard to find in the vast world of Hogwarts Legacy. Puffskien is the first beast on which you will learn to use the Nab-Sack. However, you can find these cute cuddly beasts scattered all around the map. You have to rescue these shrews from these places.

Simply search the global map for a sign that resembles a beast’s paw and hover over it to find out what kind of Magical Beast resides there to locate any den. These are some Puffskein Dens:

  • Southeast of Jackdaw’s Tomb in the Forbidden Forest
  • Northern Feldcroft Region
  • Southwest of Hogsmeade
  • Central Poidsear Coast
  • Southeast Clagmar Coast

Rescuing Puffskein is very easy. You just need to use the Nab-Sack and the press button one time. They will fly into the Nab-Sack. You can also find the shiny version of Puffskein. Starred Puffskein has a different color than normal Puffskein. Bogeys are the main source of food for the Puffskein, and they frequently push their long tongues up their owners’ noses to get at them.

You can find the Bogey Ball, Puffskein’s favorite toy inside the Toy Chest Spellcraft. After taking them to Vivarium, you can feed them and brush them which will give you Puffskein Fur. Its fur is used to upgrade your gears in Hogwarts Legacy. You can also buy Puffskien fur from the Brood and Peck shop for 150 Galleons. However, getting fur directly by petting your Puffskien is a far better option.

You can also sell your Puffskein to the Brood and Peck. It will give you 120 Galleons. You can also release them in wild.
