Ever since its release, Hogwarts Legacy has made big news. While there has been huge controversy surrounding the game title, players who have played the title seem to really enjoy it. Naturally, they are eager to know if Avalanche Studio is planning to come up with any DLC or expansion for the game. However, there is allegedly no such plan as of now.

Hogwarts Legacy won’t have planned DLC or expansions at release, according to director Alan Tew. The team has been focused on the main game, but Tew didn’t rule out future expansion plans.

The studio is still working on other versions of the game, with the previous generation version set to release on April 4. Fans will have to wait and see if there are any expansion plans in store for Hogwarts Legacy. The game’s rich setting and storyline provide plenty of opportunities for further exploration. Post-launch DLCs and expansions are not uncommon in RPGs.

However, for now, players will have to focus on the main game and immerse themselves in the mystery of Wizarding world. Avalanche Studios has provided players with enough fodder in terms of quests and tasks they have to complete, so they will be entertained for the foreseeable future in the game.

How about the Nintendo Switch version?

Hogwarts Legacy, the upcoming open-world adventure with RPG elements set in the Wizarding World, is currently available for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S and X, PC, and Xbox One. However, the title has been confirmed for release on Nintendo Switch. However, it was not immediately clear whether it would be a native port or a cloud version. The studio has since confirmed that they are working on a native port for the Switch. Players on Nintendo’s hybrid console can expect to dive into the magical world on July 25th.

In the game, players take on the role of a fifth-year student who must catch up on subjects that their peers have already mastered. As if that wasn’t challenging enough, players must also face a dangerous rebellion led by the dark wizard Victor Rookwood, the goblin Ranrok and his followers. With an immersive storyline and plenty of RPG elements, this is not something players should miss.
