In Hogwarts Legacy, you have to go through multiple classes like Transfiguration, Flying, Potions, Defense Against the Dark Arts, etc. You will learn new mechanics and wizarding abilities, which are essential to progressing in the game. There are several non-player characters (NPCs) in the game, including instructors, classmates, and numerous Dark Wizards. So learning some spells and brewing potions can help you combat enemies if needed.

Although potions aren’t as strong or effective as spells, they can come in handy during combat. You will learn brewing potions in Potions class. But to brew a potion, you need some ingredients which can be sometimes hard to find. The Fluxweed Stem is one of the important potion ingredients. It is vital for brewing the two best potions; Focus Potion and Felix Felicis. You will also need this item for Professor Sharp’s Assignment.

The easiest way to get Fluxweed Stem in Hogwarts Legacy is to buy them from Hogsmeade. You need to head to ‘The Magic Neep‘ store. Here you will find a bearded guy named Timothy Teasdale. You can buy a single Fluxweed Stem for 150 credits. Although it is the easiest and quickest way to get Fluxweed Stem, it’s also a very expensive one.

Alternatively, you can also grow Fluxweed Stems. For doing this, you need to buy seeds from the Magic Neep store. A packet of seed will cost you 350 Galleons. You can grow them in the Room of Requirement. You can only sow these seeds in large pots which will cost you 1000 Galleons. But you will get a constant supply of Fluxweed Stems. You can access the Room of Requirement and the potting table conjuration spellcraft after completing the Jackdaw’s Rest quest. After sowing the seed, it will take 15 minutes to grow into 5 Fluxweed Stems.

If you don’t have enough credits, then you can also find Fluxweed Stems in the wild in Hogwarts Legacy. However, it will take you a great effort to find this item in the forest.
