If you are not racing to complete the main quest of the game, then you should complete side quests. Some side quests are very fun to complete and oftentimes give interesting rewards. The Cursed Tomb Side quest is such a side quest where you embark on a treasure hunt.

Cursed Tomb Treasure Side quest in Hogwarts Legacy

To start your treasure hunt, you first need to complete “The Helm of Urtkot” main quest. In addition to completing this, you also need to have the Alohamora spell (Level 3). After completing both the mentioned things, you can proceed to complete the Cursed Tomb Treasure Side quest in Hogwarts Legacy. Now you need to head to the abandoned manor of Manor glen which will be located somewhere in the southwest along the shoreline. You will encounter a bunch of Inferi while approaching the manor.
Defeat these Inferi with the help of the Incendio spell and break inside and move to the basement. You will see a locked door. Use the Alohamora spell to crack the lock and go to underground tunnels under the manor. You will face some more enemies. They are challenging to beat so you need to give them your best. As you reach the very end of the basement, a chest will be waiting there in the bottom right corner. Unlock it to find a treasure map.
Follow the Map to find the treasure

The map indicates the Tomb of Treachery on the Poidsear Coast, but the directions are ambiguous, making it difficult to pinpoint the exact spot. The location shown on the map contains a waterfall and two mountains. The tomb is hidden behind the waterfall Poidsear Coast in Hogwarts Legacy. After entering the Tomb of Treachery, you need to travel to the north until you see a room filled with bones. From here, turn left and burn all the webs in your way with Incendio Spell.
After passing these webs, you will see a puzzle door guarded by some enemies. You need 3 Moths to unlock this door. Defeat these enemies and go to the room on the right to the puzzle door. You will find 2 Moths there. Use Lumos to bring them to the puzzle door. For the last Moth, you need to go to the room left to the puzzle door. You need to find a big box there. Use Wingardium Leviosa to move the box. and you will find the last Moth there. Bring that one too with the help of Lumos.
Open the door and enter the room. You will encounter a lot of Inferi there. Use Incendio Spell to get rid of them. After defeating the Inferis, you will notice that floor of the resembles the drawing from the map. The floor consists of eight tiles. Players must use Flipendo to flip three tiles in order to match the image on the treasure map in order to figure it out. The center square will then rise to reveal a treasure chest after that. Open the chest to get the Treasure-seeker’s Attire and 400 Galleons. With this, your Cursed Tomb Treasure side quest ends in Hogwarts Legacy.
