Unforgivable Curses in Hogwarts Legacy
In Hogwarts Legacy, players who are playing “good” characters might not wish to gather these spells, but those who are willing to compromise their morals in exchange for a significant tactical advantage might do so. Players have to complete Sebastian Sallow’s side quest in order to unlock these 3 curses. He’s a Slytherin who can become your friend. Like any other NPC companion, Sallow has distinct side quests, and completing them will give you unique rewards. The three Unforgivable Curses can be learned at various stages throughout Sebastian’s story.
These are the three Unforgivable Curses in the order in which players will unlock them:
1. Crucio
It is the first curse that you will unlock. When a wizard cast Crucio on a person or creature, it causes immense pain to their body. The Mad Eye Moody cast this spell on a bug in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. You can use it against enemies in Hogwarts Legacy. To unlock this, you need to complete the ‘Shadow of the Study’ side mission. Sebastian Sallow will give you this quest. You have to get to level 16 to start this side quest.
2. Imperio
After unlocking Crucio, you will acquire the 2nd curse, Imperio. You can control a person by using this curse. In Hogwarts Legacy, this curse is quite different than that in the book or movie. It only lets you temporarily fight on your side and you can create chaos. You have to complete the ‘In The Shadow of Time’ side quest in order to unlock Imperio. You have to get to level 17 to start this side quest.
3. Avada Kedavra
Last but the strongest Unforgivable Spell in the Wizarding World is Avada Kedavra. A wizard can instantly kill anyone by casting this spell. It’s the favorite Unforgivable Curse for all the dark wizards especially He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named (Voldermort). Devs have not changed this spell in Hogwarts Legacy. You can instantly kill anybody in the game too. It is very useful in troll fights. You have to complete the last Sebastian Sallow’s side quest mission, the ‘Shadow of The Relic’ to unlock this curse.
