How to find and win Crossed Wands Duel in Hogwarts Legacy

Hogwarts Legacy lets players use a number of spells while. You can use these spells to help somebody or to fight some enemies. Crossed Wands is one of the most fun side quests in Hogwarts Legacy. It is the name of a secret wizard dueling club at Hogwarts where members battle against one another to see who is the best in the school.

It is a great way to practice your spell-casting skills and become proficient in wand duels in Hogwarts Legacy. They can participate in the first round on their very first day at Hogwarts. On your first day, after learning Accio and Levioso, you must go to the Clock Tower to meet with Lucan Brattleby. You’ll be able to challenge other students to a duel. Other rounds will unlock as you progress through the main quest. Even though it is a PvE game mood, it’s still very competitive to play, 3rd round in particular.

Round 1

The first round of Crossed Wands serves more as a tutorial. You will team up with Sebastian to face two other students. You can focus on any of the opponents while Sebastian will deal with the other one. The first you’ll learn in this round is that you have to use yellow control spells like Levioso to break the yellow shields. it’s an excellent opportunity to practice fundamental blocking and juggling of opponents in the air with the help of Levioso or Accio with subsequent basic attacks.

Round 2

The second round is where things move a step ahead. This time, you will fight 3 wizards. However, this time you can choose between Natty or Sebastian. You will learn that you need to use force spells to destroy the purple shields. During the fight, use Protego and Stupefy. It is a block-and-counter combo and will let you fight extra opponents. You will see a bright circle above you when a wizard casts a spell on you. So make sure to block with Protego and retaliate with Stupefy to get an easy W in this round.

Championship round or Round 3

This is the most difficult round of all, and players have to use all the combat skills and spells they have learned so far to win. This time, you will take on a team of 4 wizards who are quite difficult to deal with. So make sure you have Wiggenweld potions or other healing items before starting this Crossed Wands round in Hogwarts Legacy. After starting the round, make sure to roll repeatedly to dodge the spells and use Protego to deflect incoming attacks. It can be very irritating if you get stuck in Levioso or Accio. To exit the attack cleanly, wait before pressing the button that appears on the screen.

The ideal way to win is to focus on eliminating one student at a time. Use spells like Incedio to break the red shield, and juggle that opponent using Levioso. You can also hurl objects near you to break the shield, which will also cause a good amount of damage. You can either complete this round solo or with Natty or Sebastian. However, doing it solo will obviously be harder than doing it with any of the companions.

Rewards for completing Cross Wands in Hogwarts Legacy

After successfully defeating all the wizards in the duel, you will receive Crossed Wands Champion Grab. The costume can be worn as is or tucked under coats or robes by the player.
