You can fly freely in Overwatch 2 by using Mercy’s ultimate skill Valkyrie. For this, you just need to activate the ultimate skill and you will be able to fly. You can ascend with the jump button and descend by using the couch button.

You can also fly by using Mercy’s Guardian Angel ability. However, it’s quite different than flying with the Valkyrie ability. To perform this, you need to follow these steps:

  • First, aim toward your teammate who is in proximity. Your blue cursor will get locked on that teammate.
  • Activate your Guardian Angel ability. Press the Crouch button to ascend upwards while using the Guardian Angel as you are halfway to the ally. If you choose to jump instead of crouch, you will quickly glide in their direction. So in order to fly as Mercy in Overwatch 2, just be sure to hit and hold the Crouch button as you approach the ally.
  • You will see a meter, right to the reticle. A higher charge in the meter will let ascend higher.

While flying, more like floating with the Guardian Angle ability, make sure you don’t go too far. If you travel a bit far, then you will get disconnected from the ally.
