Copper Bars in LEGO Fortnite are a rare and valuable resource for your in-game progress. They are helpful for many upgrades, such as bigger chests and better crafting benches. They can also be used to obtain various items such as Ovens, Ladles and Barrels. You will first need to get your hands on some copper if you wish to make copper bars in Fortnite.

Epic Games has made the process of finding this ore quite tough for beginners. You must travel to the desert biome to find raw copper in your world. Further, you will be required to hunt down the Lava Cave entrance. The entrance resembles a large mound of rocks with a small entrance. Entering the passage will teleport you into a cave where you can find copper.

Note that entering this Lava cave requires you to carry some heat resistance. The snowberry shake is a great time to take with you on your expedition as it provides resistance to heat for 10 minutes. Make sure to stock up on these shakes before going hunting for copper. You will also require a torch to wander around in the dark cave.

Walk around the cave and keep your eye open for copper ore. The metal is orange and slightly brown in colour. A mound of copper ore will not look too different from a pile of rocks. This ore can be found both on the walls and floor. You will need at least a rare/blue pickaxe to mine the ore and take it home with you.

Craft Copper Bars in LEGO Fortnite using Copper Ore

After collecting copper ore, return to the surface and craft a Metal Smelter if you do not already have one. A Metal Smelter can be crafted using 3x blast cores, 15x bright cores, and 35x obsidian slabs. These resources can be found in the Dry Valley caves. After doing so, go to the Utility option, choose Metal Smelter and browse recipes.

Here, you can craft copper bars in LEGO Fortnite using 1x Copper and 2x Brightcore. Brightcore can also be found in the lava caves. You can now use these bars to make bigger chests, better crafting benches or whatever you please. Note that copper bars are not the only item to upgrade your craft benches. You will also be required to obtain some brute scales.
