Unlock the Arithmancy Doors in Hogwarts Legacy
There are 10 different creatures around these Arithmancy doors in Hogwarts Legacy. You need to decipher what these symbols mean. You will get the door symbols cipher in a blue box near a blackboard that is distant from Divination Classroom Floo Flame. Here is what number each creature represents:
- Demiguise: zero
- Unicorn: one
- Dragon: two
- Three-headed Snake: three
- Owl: four
- Quintaped: five
- Salamander: six
- Octopus: seven
- Spider: eight
- Hydra: nine
Now, the majority of your work is done. Players will see 2 triangles with symbols that can be numbers or creatures on 2 vertices; a question mark or double question marks the remaining vertex and one 1 number in middle. You will also see single question marks and double-question marks on the left and right sides respectively of the door. You can replace these question marks with the creatures symbol. To solve these equations You have to figure out the creatures which can replace these single and double question marks on the equation and roll them on the marks beside the door to solve these equations.
Here’s the actual trick, the middle number is the sum of the number, and the number creature represents on the vertices. For example On the Puzzle door in the Central Hall Rafters, you will see the lower triangle with numbers 0, 1, and double-question marks on vertices and number 4 in the middle. Now follow these instructions
0+1+?? = 4
?? = 3
Now, from the above list, you can see the three-headed snake symbol represents the number 3 so you have to roll the double-question mark on the right side of the door to the dragon.
In the upper triangle on the same door, you will number 1, a three-headed snake and a question on the vertices, and number 9 in the middle. The three-headed snake symbol represents the number 3, so after solving the equation you will get the number 4. Roll the left-side question mark dial to the owl.
