In a new update, Fortnite: Save The World introduces wolves and dinosaurs.

Fortnite: Save the World has received a new update that includes various new features, including the addition of wolves and dinosaurs. This is just one of many improvements for the enormously popular Epic Games franchise, with the enhanced Spider-Man content in Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode being a recent example.

While the free-to-play Battle Royale mode is likely the most well-known aspect of Fortnite, the game was originally conceived as a co-op base defence and survival game. Players band up to defend a central region from zombie hordes in this game mode, dubbed Save the World. This level debuted the game’s signature construction element, which is crucial in keeping the mindless foes at bay.

Despite the fact that Save the World isn’t free to play like its Battle Royale counterpart (though it is one of the many privileges of the Fortnite Crew membership), Epic still pays attention to it with updates and content drops.

Several new tameable animal critters have been introduced to the most recent Save the World update. Epic Games has released an update that explains how these new NPCs work, stating that they can become friendly allies after receiving a food gift. Several new animal kinds, such as wolves, boars, and raptors, have been added, each with its own set of attack types and abilities.

Raptors, for example, can inflict Affliction, a condition that causes foes to incur damage over time. The Brawl of the Wild questline, which will eventually reward players with a new playable character, will be released alongside these animals.

This is a substantial Fortnite: Save the World update. While the Battle Royale section of the game has some high-profile crossovers, such as Aloy from Horizon Forbidden West, there are still gamers who prefer Save the World’s more focused single-player and co-op action. As a result, large-scale content drops are sure to be well-received.

Epic’s continued interest in Save the World can be seen in the addition of these new mechanics and enjoyable additions. Of course, the game’s Battle Royale mode is undeniably more popular, so it’s uncertain how long the makers will maintain support for this more niche game option. Whatever the future holds for Fortnite: Save the World, many fans will undoubtedly like this new content.
