IShowSpeed recently won the Variety Streamer Award 2023. The recently hosted Streamy Awards saw a lot of streamers and media personalities win prestigious awards. A lot has been going on for the 18-year-old prominent streamer. After recently getting canceled for a wardrobe malfunction, Speed has undone the past and made his dad proud in a recent YouTube vlog of his.

Despite not facing any bans on YouTube, the moment was quite controversial in and of itself. IShowSpeed even expressed his regret for the situation. At one point, he even confronted his father for mocking him over the controversy. However, despite all this, he has bagged a prestigious award amongst top contending streamers such as Valkyrie and Ludwig.

IShowSpeed, before winning the award, had reached a milestone on YouTube. He had finally reached 20 million subscribers. Despite getting swatted during the moment, it was an emotional and celebratory moment for the young and up-and-coming streamer. The Variety Streamer award was only evident as his father proudly watched his son walk the stage and get the internationally prestigious award.

Despite having made fun of IShowSpeed for his controversy, the recent Streamy Award 2023 showcased a different side to the story. Following the Streamy Awards, IShowSpeed handed over his award to his dad so he could keep it. IShowSpeed’s dad, who goes by (@DaddySpeed) on YouTube, recently uploaded a vlog that captured a wholesome moment. 

He began the video by talking about going to meet up with a famous Detroit bowling group called the Travelers. As he was entering the building as an invitee, he could be seen holding IShowSpeed’s award in his right hand. In the video, they even zoom in on the award and add extra music to highlight the prestigious award. 

The wholesome moment went viral on the internet. It shows the hard work and perseverance IShowSpeed has gone through after reaching 20 million subscribers. Despite having been seriously ill earlier this month, IShowSpeed has finished off the month of August with numerous feats that everyone, including his father, can be proud of.
