WATCH: IShowSpeed loses $10,000 after being decimated by Fortnite streamer Mongraal in a 1V1 fight

The Chapter 4 Season 5 of Fortnite is live now and many creators and veterans have hopped in to relive the OG map. Among these streamers, IShowSpeed, also streamed the game later when servers went up. Fans know how much Speed loves Fortnite and is also good enough to challenge some top creators. A few months back he even challenged had 1V1 matches with NickEH30 and challenged Ninja to a game of Fortnite.

While fans have seen no advancement on that challenge, Speed did recently get to play with another Fortnite Pro who goes by the name Mongraal. The Fortnite pro created a private server. The two jumped in for a game of 1v1 build challenge match-up with $10,000 on the line. Despite giving a tough challenge Speed lost the 1v1 challenge along with the $10,000.

IShowSpeed goes off after losing $10k to Mongraal in Fortnite wager

The two had a really intense competition. The fight ended with an intense building war. Mongraal, thanks to his experience, eventually took down IShowSpeed and eliminated him. Mongraal ended up winning the match and the $10k on the line.

Mongraal eliminated him and immediately said, “GG, you just lost 10k.” Speed was in complete shock and utter disbelief as he could not believe he lost that game, considering how well he was playing. Speed starts shouting, grabs his head and sits up on his chair. He exited the game and said, “Eat my doody a**” and took off his headphones.

This is a much less explosive reaction to what fans are accustomed to from Speed. This shows the genuineness of his disappointment after losing such a close game, and that he was not being intentionally explosive for entertainment.


Even though Speed ended up losing the wager, the comments were full of support and love for the Ohio native. Despite not being able to win the challenge, he was able to hold his own against such a prolific Fortnite player. They egged him on to play the game more and challenge other Fortnite players to similar competitions. They said he would also make his money back in no time if he continued practising and playing the way he does.
