“I can’t wait to get revenge on that guy, I swear,” IShowSpeed promises to take his revenge against KSI for saving his penalty in Sidemen Charity Match 2023
IShowSpeed talks on KSI saving his penalty in Sidemen Charity Match 2023
IShowSpeed has finally spoken up about his performance at the Sidemen charity match. The long-awaited event saw a thriller 13-goal match that Sidemen FC had won 8-5. IShowSpeed, who played for the losing team, All-Stars FC, had many memorable moments. He was able to get an assist, which is quite impressive compared to last year’s performance.
However, despite the assist, he had missed many opportunities that fans found amusing. Amongst them was a penalty he missed on KSI. His weak touch, which kicked the ball straight into KSI’s hands for him to swiftly swing it aside, had become the highlight of the match. KSI even did a reverse SUI on Speed as he took his revenge for being tacked earlier in the game. This was brutal, as both stars had exchanged friendly threats to one-up each other before the match.
Following the match, IShowSpeed was invited to Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand’s YouTube channel, ‘Rio Ferdinand Presents Five’. Before that, Rio had appeared on IShowSpeed’s stream as the pair reacted to the Sidemen Charity match. However, in Rio’s interview on his channel, Speed and Rio happened to talk about Speed’s friendly rivalry with British YouTuber KSI.
IShowSpeed reveals he wants revenge after KSI saved his penalty
During the interview alongside Rio Ferdinand and Joel Beya, IShowSpeed was asked about his rivalry with KSI. “This rivalry with KSI, its looking pretty real, bro. What’s going on. He’s doing ‘reverse siuu’ on you, like, talk to us about that.” Speed was asked by Joel. In response Speed said, “I can not wait to get my revenge on that guy. I swear, I promise you. The way he like – (*sighs)”
IShowSpeed then explained how he took the penalty. He claims that the nerves got to him, and that he was aiming to shoot the ball lower left corner of the goal. However, his nerves hit him and rather than doing what he did in practice. Speed said, “I didn’t hit it wide (the penalty). See, my nerves got to me. I should’ve shot it how I was shooting at the practice. The nerves got to me. I was trying to shoot it lower left but I went for more of a placement, then I put not enough power to it and it went straight to the middle like, a f**king 13-year-old kicked the goal.”
After the Sidemen Charity match, he even considered quitting football. This came as he was disappointed in his performance, despite doing much better than his last game performance. However, he then reconsiders quitting as he says he wants to be like his idol, Cristiano Ronaldo. Despite missing chances, his performance was approved to be much better by many, including Tobjizzle from the Sidemen.
