Hasan Abi claimed that iDubbbz would face a lot of backlash, which was a result of pointing out the destructive parts of his community. He also warned that the same people who complain about cancel culture will spread his previous videos to disparage him. Hasan Abi brought up the fact that iDubbbz’s earlier content was noticeably more offensive in her tweets regarding the topic. The YouTuber has a history of using language that is toxic and disrespectful at worst, including racial slurs. He Said
“A lot of old Idubbz fans online are upset that he has changed for the better. I’m proud of him for taking ownership of the toxic and racist aspects of his old content. I’m glad he has grown to have a more empathetic outlook.”
Many people have criticized the iDubbbz for doing things like using the n-word on camera and in a recent video, he apologized to his community and the rest of the world for his conduct. He has since apologized for how some of his YouTube videos depicted him treating other content creators harshly in his most well-known series, the Content Cop, which was also taken down from his channel. For instance, in this clip, iDubbbz expressed his regret for using the n-word in his conversation with influencer Tana Mongeau.
