League of Legends Champions Korea’s representatives DRX defeated the defending world champions Edward Gaming in a Breathtaking 3-2 finish. Edwards had an early 2-0 lead but the South Korean team DRX didn’t give up and crushed Edwards 3 times in a row after the second round. This is the second time we are seeing this happen as such reverse sweeps are very rare in Worlds.
The first two matches for Edward gaming were great they were unstoppable and when almost everyone thought it was going to Edwards The DRX strikes back. With Zeka doing the heavy-hitting DRX easily won two more rounds to tie the last quarter-finals with Edward gaming. Zeka’s game-ending quadra kill took DRX to their victory. It was also the birthday of DRX player Deft and he received one of the best birthday gifts possible. Deft got so emotional that he broke into tears after they defeated the last year’s champions.
After this DRX will be getting ready to face Gen.G who has been doing exceptionally well in this series. DRX is the last semifinalist, we have, DRX, Gen.G, T1, and JDG facing each other for the semifinals. The community expects this to be one of the most exciting Worlds semifinals.

League of Legends Worlds 2022 Knockout Stage brackets, schedule, and results
The semifinals will start with JD Gaming vs. T1 on Saturday, 29 October 2022. Following this, we’ll see Gen.G vs. DRX on Sunday, 30 October 2022. T1, Gen.G, and DRX are all representatives of LCK(South Korea) and JD is a representative of LPL(China).
Community favorite JDG will be facing T1 since both teams have big fan bases and are some of the strongest teams in the tournament, our first semifinals are going to be captivating. On 5th November 2022, the winners of both semifinals will face off to take the winning trophy home. Semifinal matches will be best of 5 and will start at 4 pm CT and the final will start at 7 Pm.
Will this be a fourth trophy for T1 or we will see Gen.G taking the trophy home? Fans will soon find out as the biggest League of Legends tournament will be coming to an end in 2 weeks.
