Lil Nas X has received a lot of backlash from the internet community about his latest single, J Christ. Many claim that his cover art of him lying on a cross being lifted by five others makes a mockery of Jesus Christ and the religion as a whole. Other than fans, streamers such as JiDion and Kai Cenat have called out Lil Nas X for these actions.
Lil Nas X tried to redeem himself by posting a photo of his acceptance letter to Liberty University, A Christian school in Virginia. He added he would pursue a dual concentration in Christian Leadership and Biblical Studies to prove his dedication to his religion.
This still did not exonerate the rapper of the accusations against him. Further, Lil Nas X decided to release a teaser for his music video. In the teaser, people of all ethnicities and backgrounds are lining up to go to heaven. On January 12th, J Christ was released, featuring similar religious tones that have offended people further.
JiDion blames Christians for falling for Lil Nas X’s bait
JiDion was reading a recent tweet from the controversial rapper. The tweet asked his audience, “Should I enter my Christian era?” Right off the bat, JiDion addresses people who follow the Christian religion. He tells them that Lil Nas X is simply baiting them for attention. JiDion follows it up by saying Christians have repeatedly fallen for this trick.
Let’s rile up some Christians. Let’s give Satan a lap dance.

However, JiDion also had a few words to say about Nas X. He called him a gimmick rapper, saying he’s no better than 6ix9ine. After people get over his gimmick, nobody will care about him. The streamer added that Nas X needed controversy to sell records. Initially, the required rapper homosexuality to sell his records, gaining support from members of the LGBTQ community.
Jidion said that he had now moved on to riling up the Christians. He mentioned Lil Nas X’s music video where he twerked on the devil. Considering that this move made him sell many records, he now decided to make a Christian song in which he could wear a wig and a dress, targeting the same Christians and riling them up again.
