LilyPichu explains her move to YouTube Gaming
Lily Ki, better known by her gaming and streaming alias, LilyPichu, is an American Streamer who recently changed platforms from Twitch to YouTube Gaming.
Lily, who is currently on a trip to Japan with her friends from OfflineTV, a content creation group that she is associated with, announced on 7th July 2022 that she would now be moving to YouTube Gaming exclusively.
In the video, she was shown in a dilemma between two buttons, one being red and the other being purple depicting the two different streaming platforms, and ended up letting her dog choose.
After making the move official, LilyPichu went on a stream from her hotel room in Japan on YouTube during which she explained the move stating that it was an easy decision to make.
“I felt like I wasn’t really going anywhere on Twitch,” she said to her viewers. “Financial stability, change of space… if I’m going to fall off, I might as well fall off on YouTube where I get paid, so yeah.”
“It’s kinda cool because I’ve went full circle. I started with YouTube and now I’m ending with YouTube. Do you know how many music videos I can fund now,” she continued. “Also YouTube if you want to push comfi beats in your algorithm I’m not going to complain about that. Overall, it was an easy decision.”
Lily joins the plethora of other big names who made the decision to step off from Twitch and jump ship to YouTube Gaming and only time will tell who’s next on YouTube’s list of potential streamers.
