Logan Paul’s energy drink company, Prime, has found itself under heavy scrutiny from media outlets all around. Health Canada scrutinized Prime Energy drink due to its high caffeine percentage. They said that the drink shouldn’t be sold because it exceeds the regulatory mark of 180mg with 200mg of caffeine. Health Canada also mentioned how some shops are selling Prime Energy without approval. However, Logan Paul recently released a tweet bashing the media outlets over fake news!

YouTubers Logan Paul and KSI created Prime Energy, an energy drink that is popular in the US amongst youth. Natural ingredients, including guarana, taurine, and B vitamins, are the drink’s primary ingredients. It contains 200 mg of caffeine, which is about the same amount as a cup of coffee. Prime Energy is also vegan and gluten-free. Furthermore, the drink’s main feature is that it’s low in sugar and contains only 10 calories, boosting its caffeine level. Moreover, Prime Energy can be compared to two cans of Red Bull.

And this higher dose of caffeine has put the drink in jeopardy in Canada. For children under the age of 18, Health Canada advises consuming no more than 2.5 mg of caffeine per kilogram of body weight. Comparatively, a serving of Prime Energy contains six times as much caffeine as a can of Coke, which has 34 mg. But Logan Paul, in his recent Twitter post, has thoroughly based these media outlets labeling all this news as fake.

Logan mentioned that Prime formulas are compliant with the regulatory bodies of each country. Furthermore, he mentioned that the drink is not meant for those below the age of 18, which the news outlets raised as one of the ‘prime’ concerns. Logan also mentioned how this situation is just an attack from massive conglomerates and the US government, targeted to lower the stock value of the company since it has been sweeping the market shares upon its release.
