During the holiday season, many gaming stores, such as Steam and Epic Games, run holiday sales and giveaways. Epic Games had another surprise waiting for gamers, and it is related to Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy game.

Epic Games has given major discounts on this year’s biggest releases. For example, Alan Wake 2 was available in the store for nearly half the launch price, EA FC 24 for $19, and Hogwarts Legacy and Assassin’s Creed Mirage for $23. Epic Games kicked off the holiday season on December 13th, launching a free mystery game in their store.

The first week started with Destiny 2: Legacy Collection being given away to gamers for free until December 20th. Following this, 15 other games were given away every other day until January 4th. This included some huge names such as Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition and A Plague’s Tale: Innocence.

Continuing with their free games giveaway, Epic Games has now decided to give away Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy completely for free on the Epic Games Store. Players can claim the game fully for free until January 11th at 4 pm GMT. Those who claim the game during this period will be able to enjoy it for free.

This is a huge deal, considering that Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy won the Best Narrative Award at the Game Awards 2021. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is an action-adventure game that allows players to take on the role of Star-lord.
