However, one of the prominent content creators of the video gaming community is going to be retiring soon. Matt Patt, a.k.a The Game Theorist, has recently announced that he’s going to retire soon after a 15-year run!

With the rise of platforms like YouTube, Twitch, and other similar sites, content creation has become a really big career. Many streamers like IShowSpeed, Kai Cenat, and others have gained immense success by creating content for a wide variety of audiences. Moreover, certain creators have become memorable entities for the community due to the content they produce or produced. These creators definitely left a mark on the community.

Similarly, Matt Patt, The Game Theorist, has shocked everyone by revealing that he’s going to retire soon after creating a 15-year-old legacy!

Patrick and his wife Stephanie launched Game Theorists in 2011 as an all-in-one place to talk about the wackiest online ideas behind well-known video games. Since the release of its debut video, the company has expanded into a YouTube behemoth with spinoffs. Moreover, they receive over hundred million views each month and have over 17.7 million subscribers on their primary channel alone. And Matt Patt is the reason why fans adore the company and the YouTube channel! However, it seems like that’s not going to last for long.

Recently, during a YouTube video last Tuesday, Matt Patt, The Game Theorist, revealed that he’s going to retire soon. Furthermore, Patt would be putting an end to a 15-year-old legacy that he and his wife created to enjoy a serene life moving forward. In a tearful video for both Patt and fans, titled “Goodbye Internet,” Patt revealed his retirement. Patt said that he’ll be hosting the last Game Theorist video on March 29, 2023, and would be taking a backseat after that.

Patt would be handing over the control of his channels to other deserving individuals and would take a supervising role instead and live a comfortable life with his wife and family 15 years after becoming a YouTube behemoth. This rest, for him, was one he desperately needed and deserved. Patt has become a really big personality over the past few years. Recently, he even hosted the Streamy Awards 2023 and felicitated many content creators.

With the announcement of Patt retiring soon, the entire community is now making preparations to bid one of their favorite creators a hearty farewell. Patt definitely became a really big name in the community, receiving immense love from many. Matt Patt is going to appear for the last time on the Internet, on 9th March.
