MrBeast, a YouTube personality, has sided with Elon Musk as the Tesla CEO fires back at mainstream media in a series of tweets. One of YouTube’s biggest stars is Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson. The content developer is most known for his high-stakes, million-dollar challenges and ambitious, big-budget productions.

He’s also a great believer in giving back to the community. The YouTuber, who has 90 million followers on his main channel, has started his charity to help feed his local community, which is entirely supported by YouTube views.

MrBeast is no stranger to receiving criticism for his every action, despite his accomplishments with #TeamTrees and #TeamSeas (where he planted 20 million trees and donated $30 million to clean the world’s oceans).

He most recently faced fire for his world-record-breaking rendition of Netflix’s Squid Game, where he was accused of copying and accused of “cheapening” the creator’s hard work. Now, it appears that MrBeast is downplaying the backlash he received in a remarkable Twitter interaction with Tesla CEO Elon Musk. MrBeast responds to the criticism and supports Elon Musk.

Elon Musk took to Twitter on February 8, 2022, to criticise mainstream media agencies, writing: “Why is the ‘conventional’ media such a continuous hate stream?” “This is a genuine question.”

He responded a few hours after Musk’s tweet, appearing to agree with Musk and even sharing his own top-tier influencer experiences.

He did not comment on the initial backlash following his phenomenal Squid Game triumph — which garnered over 130 million views in less than 24 hours — but it appears he is well aware of the scrutiny he faces as one of YouTube’s most popular personalities.

It doesn’t appear to be holding him down, as he recently launched his chocolate bar line, which includes the opportunity for consumers to win a Willy Wonka experience at his chocolate shop.
