Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson who is known for making videos such as counting to a 100,000 and burying himself alive for 50 hours, in a recent tweet, talked about his Squid Game video and how it helped other creators gain a following and get more hits on their videos.

It is notable that MrBeast spent a whopping $3.5 million dollars on creating the set for his Squid Game video which was inspired by the popular Netflix show, Squid Game.

MrBeast posted a video of his very own version of the popular Netflix show back in November of 2021 which has now garnered over 245 million views at the time of writing. In this video, he spent an alleged $3.5 million just to create the set.

In a tweet Jimmy posted on April 23, he posted how all the videos from creators who helped him make the Squid Game video were also doing well and how happy he was for them all.

The task for the creation of the huge girl statue used in the Red Light Green Light segment was assigned to none other than Matthew Beem who recorded his experience throughout the making of it. His video alone has gathered over 21 million views at the time of writing and that is saying a lot about MrBeast’s influence over the YouTube community.

MrBeast also took the help of SoKrispyMedia in creating the rest of the elements of the set along with the production of the entire video including pre-visualisation, CGI, and VFX used in the video.

Last but not least, he also mentioned William Osman‘s “How I almost Ruined MrBeast’s Squid Game” which has over 5.4 million views

MrBeast in his tweet wrote “I love how the creators that helped us make squid game all got viral videos out of it” followed by an emoji that was smiling surrounded by hearts.

Jimmy has been very outspoken about helping other creators to grow, be it using his face for their thumbnails if he’s in the video, or just simply giving amazing advice on the numerous podcasts he goes on. Either way, he has truly turned himself into one of YouTube’s biggest creators and philanthropists with over 94 million subscribers while the number continues to grow by the hour.

While everyone says that MrBeast has truly made every big thing he could, Jimmy says there is still something “bigger” to come giving us goosebumps while thinking what might be bigger than a Squid Game that he spent $3.5 million building while offering $456,000 as the prize to the winner. Whatever it might be, we are here to cover it and you can rest assured that you will be just as surprised as we will.
