MrBeast approves Elon Musk’s poll of leaving the head of Twitter position
MrBeast (L) and Elon Musk (R)
YouTuber Jimmy ‘MrBeast‘ Donaldson is generally seen as a humble person on social media as he can rarely be seen complaining or ranting over an issue but yesterday when Elon Musk set up a poll on whether or not he should leave his position at Twitter, the content creator surprisingly approved for the motion.
Elon Musk started a poll with the title ‘Should I step down as the head of Twitter. I will abide by the results of this poll’. Soon people crowded to vote their opinion and as of now, the number of votes for ‘Yes’ has surpassed the second option. MrBeast also voted for the same, while replying why he voted for yes.
He showed the recent Twitter policy to the Tesla owner, and implied that if he keeps on bringing such policies, then it’d be better for him to step down. For someone, who has previously interacted with Musk on multiple occasions, Twitterati was quite surprised to see MrBeast commenting something like this.

Which Twitter policy of Elon Musk is MrBeast criticizing?
The Twitter policy brought out by the content creator was deleted shortly from the official Twitter support website, but when it was announced, it received a huge backlash from all corners of social media. Apparently, the policy wanted to eliminate the promotion of other social media websites on the platform.
The policy mentioned that Twitter users won’t be able to share the links of the following social media websites on their platform-
- Mastodon
- Truth Social
- Tribel
- Post
- Nostr
- 3rd party social media aggregators such as linktr.ee
As it refrained Twitter users from promoting channels or profiles of their other social media websites, they were critical of the policy. Following the huge backlash, the policy decision was scrapped and the post was taken down from the platform. Shortly, Elon Musk made the poll and its result turned against him.
Fans react to MrBeast’s reply
MrBeast’s reply received mixed responses on the internet as some of the people claimed that he just needs more wealth, as he wishes to promote his channels for free everywhere. Some even pointed out that it is actually a right decision as no one would allow to promote other platforms on their own.
Even though Elon Musk has received more ‘Yes’ votes for stepping down as the head of Twitter, it is unlikely that he would decide to leave the position so easily.
