YouTube streamer Myth has made his name in the gaming industry having played various gaming titles over the years. He started off as a Twitch streamer but has since shifted platforms to YouTube. Now, he announced that he would be changing the kind of content he uploads on his YouTube channel.

Earlier, Myth would share gaming content on his channel pertaining to titles like Fortnite and Valorant. However, now he will be uploading content to help upcoming streamers decide the kind of content they want to stream. He made this announcement during a recent livestream, discussing this announcement at length.

Going over his thought process, Myth spoke about how he had seen immense success as a gamer and a streamer. However, he wanted to explore a different path for the content he created for his YouTube channel.

“For a long time I did not know what kind of content I wanted to create…I’ve had a lot of success as a streamer. But I think for this channel, and the stuff we’re going to produce here, I want to move in a different direction.”

He explained that he wanted to steer away from the gaming content that he was creating so far, and shift to helping build the streaming community as a whole.

“I want to move to doing something that makes me a little bit more happy. I’ve come to the conclusion that I want to help the future creators of the world navigate this space and have the knowledge that I have.”

Myth even discussed his content plan for the next few months. He stated that he would simply have candid conversations with his viewers, explaining the various minute details of streaming and its nuances. So far, Myth has not announced any specific date when he will start these streams or videos. However, this surely is a step in the right direction for the streaming community.

The YouTube streamer has taken a great initiative by deciding to help out upcoming streamers familiarize themselves with the streaming industry. However, Myth is not the first streamer to have taken up this initiative. Apart from him, streamers like Pokimane and Ludwig also have business ventures that work on the same ideology.

While Pokimane began her organization, RTS, back in 2021, Ludwig began his venture, Offbrand, in 2022. It is quite endearing to see popular streamers try and do their part for the community that helped them grow. While Ludwig and Pokimane have established their brands, Myth’s approach seems to be more personal.
