Free Fire has recently been celebrating the New Age update hitting the game with many winter themed changes and also some new pets and new characters. The characters in Free Fire are an integral part of the game as they allow the players to choose the abilities they want to take to the fight. Each character is equipped with a different ability which makes hem special and stand out. With the introduction of newer characters, the old ones may seem to fade in to the background.
Nairi (Ability: Ice Iron)
The newest characters to be introduced in the game is none other than Nairi, who was welcomed in the game in the New Age update.

His in-game description reads that he is a storm chaser who researches about climate technology. He is a New Age character released very recently and has an awesome ability.
He has a passive ability called “Ice Iron” an this will recover 20% of Gloo Wall durability every 1 second when deployed. It also increases damage by 20% when using ARs on Gloo Walls. Upon upgrading this will recover 30% Gloo wall durability and increases damage by 25% when using ARs on Gloo Walls.
Leon (Ability: Buzzer Beater)
Leon was released during the Booyah Day update a few months ago and is described as a rising star in the basketball scene.
He also has a Passive ability in the game called “Buzzer Beater”. This ability allows the player to recover 5 HP after surviving combat. This is boosted to 30 HP at the max level when upgraded.
Nairi vs Leon: Who has the better ability?
Both the characters are very viable in the current meta but we can only choose between one for this comaprison.
Leon has an useful ability that helps him sustain in fights, given he gets out of it. However, the damage recovered is very small and fights in group mode can be very long and tedious, rendering this ability very insignificant.
On the other hand Nairi has a very useful ability which can lead to stronger gloo walls and recovery at the same time. This ability can also deal damage using an AR and can be very useful to break other’s defenses.
Nairi is definitely the better pick among the two in the Nairi vs Leon comparison.
