New Halo Infinite leaks appear to show the Infection game mode’s starting cinematic
InfiniteLeaks, a Halo Infinite dataminer, recently shared a brief snippet of what the start of an upcoming game mode would look like on Twitter.
The prominence of InfiniteLeaks, as well as how frequently they have provided the community with correct leaks and insiders, lends weight to this leak. So it’s very likely that Infection will be one of the next game modes in the shooter, and the film shows what the opening cinematic would look like.
In future updates, 343 Industries has a slew of game types planned for the game. However, most of the modes will not be included in Season 1 of the shooter because the creators are still working to smooth out some of the rough edges and address some of the more serious game-breaking flaws that remain.

Will the addition of new game options aid Halo Infinite in reviving its dwindling player base?
It’s no surprise that Halo Infinite has had some issues in recent months, particularly when it comes to keeping gamers engaged with fresh and intriguing content. It’s been over four months since the game’s release, and fans are irritated by 343 Industries’ lack of communication and absence of a roadmap. Many major Halo YouTubers, such as HiddenXperia, have discussed extensively about what’s wrong with the game right now and how the developers will need to address some of the more pressing issues.
“This game has been nothing short of a rollercoaster. The launch period of this game has had so many ups, and also so many downs, and this game, right now as it stands, is in such a peculiar state. The main issue with this game right now, which encompasses all of what I just talked about and more, is the uncertainty surrounding it thanks to 343 [Industries’] peculiar silence with the fixes and the content additions we need.”
The lack of a roadmap has hampered the game’s popularity to the point where some content providers have departed the game entirely, while others have pledged not to touch it until season 2. Hopefully, some of the planned game types and events, such as Tactical Ops, will help to turn things around for Halo Infinite and help it regain a healthy player base.
