Iconic and influential Twitch streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins shared his unfiltered views on COD Modern Warfare 3, but it did not go as you expected. Ninja rages at the community of COD for keeping high hopes for Modern Warfare 3. Ninja’s remarks have sparked a discussion that exposes significant issues regarding the gaming industry, its fan base, and the unrelenting search for excellence in the always-changing esports industry.
This Twitter handle called Modern Warzone released a shot clip over his handle in which Ninja was absurdly losing his temper. Ninja sarcastically elaborated that the game would be filled with glitches and bugs, yet they would still “fall for it.“
He spitted words nonstop without a pause and ended by addressing the COD community as “disgusting mentally abused players.” He was in no mood to stop and proclaimed that COD would maintain its legacy of dropping skins from Attack of Titan and, after eight months, would release a new version of the game.
Ninja mocks the Call of Duty fans but later regrets
Ninjas’ words spread like fire, and constructive criticism was no longer far away. Fans and followers of Ninja appreciated his honesty and accountability towards the community. However, the critics did not leave a chance to criticize Ninja. The critics said that Ninja was being harsh and was hurting the sentiments of true COD fans. They also said that he was undercutting the community’s joy and anticipation.
Ninja himself quickly followed up with his tweet, stating, ”0 lies were detected. I also wanna be clear that I don’t WANT the game to fail. I would love nothing more than for streamers and gamers to thrive playing it.” He further emphasized that he genuinely wanted the game to succeed and that he had no real intention to harm the industry with his statements. He reassured me that he just wanted the audience to have the best experience.
It is unclear how Ninja’s remarks will affect the reputation of “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3″ and the greater topic surrounding the esports industry as the game’s release is close by.
