PewDiePie sheds tears after finally moving to Japan after 2 years.
Felix “PewDiePie” Kjellberg, or the king of YouTube as he is called by many, has been on the platform for the longest time and has been one of the OG Pioneers of the platform.
Pewds has been very open in the past about his likeliness towards Japan and has even visited the country many times. In fact, he likes the country so much that back in 2019, he announced that he will be moving there permanently.
PewDiePie’s move to Japan
Even though PewDiePie had announced that he would be moving to the South Asian country back in 2019, he had problems crossing borders because of the global pandemic that soon arrived and the country’s closed borders.
Even though the country had been open to tourists for some time now, they were still not granting the visas pewds was looking for in order for him and his family to be able to move to the country.

In his last few videos, Pewds had been talking about how he was ready to move to Japan and that everything was ready for them to make the move.
After posting his videos, he went on a hiatus to prepare for his move to Japan and take the time he needed to move out of his home in Brighton, UK.
On May 9th, PewdiePie posted a video in which he revealed that all of his family including Marzia, and his two pugs Edgar and Maya, were safely in Japan and were set up in their new home.
In the video, Felix takes us through the arduous process of securing one’s visas and making arrangements for someone to move to a whole new country as well as of course the difficulties of having to fly with pets. Take note that since airlines did not allow Edgar and Maya to go with Felix and Marzia so they had to go on a private jet.
Pewds was also seen shedding a few tears in the video for it had been a long time since they had actually decided the move and they finally achieved what they wanted to.
