Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys slammed Twitch viewers for having sexist double standards when it comes to attractive female broadcasters, alleging that individuals in the entertainment industry make a bigger fuss about it than men.

So far in 2022, Pokimane has been the target of harassment and hate raids. This isn’t the first time it’s happened, though. In December 2020, she retaliated against those who stated that people only watch her stuff due to her appearance.

She, on the other hand, doesn’t think it’s a big problem. “What’s the problem if people find a female streamer attractive?” What’s the harm in meeting someone attractive?”

On January 15, 2022, she returned to the subject. But this time she approached it from a different angle. Poki chastised people for judging a female streamer’s appearance as though it were a negative trait.

“Why is it that people hold someone’s attractiveness against them?” Poki wondered. “People would be like your fans in that they only care about how they appear and want to f**k you.” “To begin with, that’s impolite and disgusting. “No one had inquired.”

She used the example of famous male actors having large fan bases of girls who find them appealing to demonstrate her argument. She laughed, “Who the f**k cares.” “No one approaches them and tells them that your fan base thinks you’re cute.”

Nonetheless, she said that female streamers face discrimination. “Why is that being used to denigrate the efforts of female streamers?” That’s the part I don’t get. They never say, “You’re a scumbag actor because your audience likes you.”

Her third point was that if someone has a large following because they are attractive, that doesn’t mean they aren’t attractive. It makes no difference to their capability or credibility.

She wasn’t specifically addressing herself. Poki has been dubbed one of the platform’s most gorgeous streamers by xQc, but the streamer believes that doesn’t detract from her point of view.
