PUBG Mobile 1.8 update
The long awaited PUBG Mobile 1.8 update has been announced today by the developers themselves. Players who were waiting ardently for the Spiderman collaboration can finally see their favorite character swinging into the battlegrounds.
Tencent releases updates on PUBG Mobile over an interval of two months. Recent updates have started to bring collaboration themed game modes which helps the players to assume the role of different characters. As the Mirror World mode has already been taken down, PUBG Mobile 1.7 update is drawing to a close and the developers are gearing up to add the new content. They have also informed that the servers will not be taken down for the new update.

PUBG Mobile 1.8 update release date and time
Much to the delight of the players, the leaks surfacing over the internet few days ago have proven to be true as PUBG Mobile 1.8 update will be released today. The new patch will start rolling out in Android devices first and here is the update time for all regions:
- Bangladesh: 5 PM
- Nepal: 4:45 PM
- England: 11 AM
- Pakistan: 4 PM
- USA: 6 AM (New York Time)
- Russia: 4-5 PM
- Indonesia: 6-7 PM
- Japan: 10 PM
Players should download PUBG Mobile 1.8 update as soon as the update is available as players with different versions won’t be able to play together.
Patch Notes
IP Themed Game Modes
Spiderman themed game mode will be available in PUBG Mobile 1.8 update. Players can defeat bosses at Mylta Power to get advanced supplies such as New Web shooter, spider web ball which are the key features of Spiderman’s abilities.

- Livik: 15 January 2022- 14 February 2022
New classic mode map
Aftermath will a new classic mode map which can only be played in Unranked mode. This advanced mode will be available in Livik map only. Some of the new features include interactive zipline, volcanic eruption landscape and more. Characters will be equipped with tactical glasses which will show the damage dealt.
Classic mode improvements
New Supply shop
Vending machines or supply shops will be spread all over the battlefield. Players can pick up currency and use them to purchase special supplies from these vending machines. Players will be notified automatically when they are close to a supply shop.
New Recall mechanic
Players will be provided a chance to return in the battlefield if they visit the recall tower and recall their teammates.
Basic Mechanic Improvements
Revive in water: When players are knocked out in water, they can swim to the shore or call their teammates to get revived in the water itself. However, their swimming speed will be reduced.
Hit marker feature: After enabling this new feature, whenever players hit towards an enemy, a mark will be placed in the direction of the enemy.
New Season
Cycle 2 Season 4 will commence from 18th January 2022 to 21st March 2022. Season rewards such as glasses, parachute, MK14 and mask will be provided.
Cycle Memories: New Jujutsu Kaisen themed story missions. Players need to collect Sukuna Fingers to unlock commemorative titles.
New Royal Pass
RPM7 Royal Guard: 18th January- 17th February
Players will be given more missions in RPM7 to gain more RP points and rank up quickly. The theme rewards of M16A4, DP28 and 2 seat motorcycle will be given in the new Royal Pass.
Various UI changes and bug fixes have been made in PUBG Mobile 1.8 update. Players who download the update within 12th January-18th January will be provided with 3000 BP, 100 AG and Aureate Assassin Helemt.
