''Today we announce our departure from PUBG Mobile Esports. We are incredibly proud of how our team performed over their last two seasons under XSET and we want to wish them nothing but the best moving forward."
XSET has been a part of the competitive scenario of this game since 2020 but in the later half of the previous year, they shuffled their roster by acquiring players from different teams. Their last set of team members who competed in the tournaments were the following-
- Marco “POLO” Ovalle
- William “Jayy” McCallum
- Za “KillSwitch” Uk Thang
- Jonathan “J7” Morales Galaviz
- ROIIDZ
The team was not able to perform well at the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021 League West as they only secured the 19th position. Even after securing the first position in the PMPL North America Spring 2022, XSET’s position dropped down to the 9th position at the recently conducted Americas Championship.

A specific reason for the disbandment of their PUBG Mobile roster was not provided by the organizers but fans believe that a possible reason is that XSET might want to make some changes to their organization. Their players, on the other hand are looking forward to being a part of new teams in the competitive scene.
