The PUBG 17.1 update will be available on the PC servers from today i.e. April 13th, however, Console users might have to wait a little longer for receiving the new features. Here is what players should look forward in this update.

Hearing the pleas of several players, the developers have finally decided to bring the original Sanhok map and revert back the new features introduced. Several original locations such as the lobster-shaped building of Bootcamp, Docks and other areas will return to their original form.

A new weapon named ACE32 will be added in the PUBG 17.1 update. Players who had difficulty in stabilizing the recoil of 7.62 mm AR weapons will be glad to hear that this AR weapon uses the 7.62 mm ammo but still does not provide a high recoil. This weapon will certainly become a useful addition.


Tactical Gear

The Tactical Gear feature introduced earlier when PUBG became free to play for all users has undergone some changes due to its overpowered performance in the PUBG 17.1 update. With this change, The Tactical Pack can no longer store other Tactical Gear items such as Drone, EMT Gear, Spotter Scope.


Ranked Season 17

The previous tier will reset, therefore, players are advised to collect all the rewards beforehand. A new Ranked Season 17 will be available with this new update and players who climb up to high tiers will also be able to get a free permanent parachute skin along with some other rewards.


Apart from these changes, players will observe some minor changes in the map service plan in the PUBG 17.1 update. The developers have also fixed some bugs, players should download the free game and enjoy.
