Offset reveals why he wasn’t on Kai Cenat’s Prison Livestream
Initially, there were rumours that Kai Cenat and Offset had a falling out after Kai gave a negative review of Offset’s song ‘Set it Off’. Offset talked about the rumours and said Kai’s review had nothing to do with the situation. The rapper added that he appreciated Kai’s honest opinion before he went on to reveal the real reason.
Offset said that he did not the prison livestream because it was something he had to consider. He added that he “comes from that.” Offset refers to when he spent time in prison, especially during the first few months when his former group, Migos, was trying to find success in the music industry.
“I didn’t really do the jail thing because I really had to think about it. I really come from that. It’s really bros and homies struggling with that. It’s not really a game. It’s a serious thing. I understand content. I salute it; I just couldn’t be a part of that content because if ya’ll remember, I come from that. I got homies that can’t ever get out.

Offset added that many brothers and close friends were struggling with the issue. Additionally, he clarified that it was not a game and instead a much more serious thing. Offset didn’t want to put down Kai’s stream, saying he understood and saluted the content. However, he couldn’t be a part of it because of his background. He also added that he has friends who can never escape jail.
