Rawkus returns to Sentinels as their Coach for 2022
After facing constant losses and trying their hand at almost everything, Sentinels are welcoming back their coach Rawkus right before VCT Stage 2 Challengers qualifier.
Rawkus had previously joined Sentinels in November 2021 up until February 2022 when he had to leave due to contract complications.
The return of Rawkus to Sentinels
The former FaZe Clan player and Sentinels coach has made his way back into Sentinels after being gone for a couple of months due to contract complications.
Rawkus was taken on loan from FaZe by Sentinels back in November 2021 but was unable to stay with them due to both parties having “buyout complications” as said by him in a Twitlonger.
In the same Twitlonger, Rawkus also mentioned that he was currently benched at FaZe and was open to offers from other teams if he was offered to play for them.
Sentinels, who were without a coach for the VCT Stage 1 and the first qualifiers for Stage 2, seem to have come to an agreeable decision with FaZe for Rawkus who will now be joining them again as their coach.

Sentinels’ struggle
Sentinels have been struggling to play well ever since their first LAN victory at Masters Reykjavik in 2021 and have also come under fire for playing in the state that they currently are, i.e. without a coach and without an analyst, both by fans and professionals.
They have only recently undergone their second roster change by benching Jared “zombs” Gitlin, one of the original team members and replacing him with Eric “Kanpeki” Xu.
Sentinels were also reportedly scrimming with their old teammate Jay “sinatraa” Won who had announced that he would be making a return to pro play which has been opposed by the general public and Riot themselves who have mandated the training that sinatraa was supposed to take but didn’t.
