Sentinels Valorant Pro SicK arrested for criminal trespassing

Professional Valorant player Hunter “SicK” Mims was the sixth member of the Sentinels’ VCT LOCK//IN Sao Paulo roster. He has a sizable following (over 500K followers) on Twitch as well. He was also part of the VCT Masters Reykjavík 2021 winning Sentinels lineup. But recently, SicK is making headlines for all the wrong reasons. SicK was arrested for criminal trespassing on March 4. He was engaged in an unpleasant altercation at a Ferrari car Dealership. An employee can be heard requesting that SicK leave his office and the dealership in a now-deleted video. SicK denied his request and responded that he won’t leave the store.

A few days earlier, SicK was also involved in online controversy. He clashed with Riot’s management after he was denied entry to the VCT LOCK//IN arena. He said in a tweet,

“No more until I stream but (the) last thing I will say is this. Riot and my own management let me down big time. Even my own people did, people I thought I could trust. Will explain the situation clearly when I go live. Very disrespectful is almost putting it lightly. I will not allow myself to be treated this way, thank you guys.”

SicK was jailed on a $5,000 bond after being charged with a Class B Misdemeanor. He is currently detained in Dallas, Texas’ Collin County Jail. According to the Law Office of Andrew Williams, Sick could spend up to 180 days in jail or a $2,000 fine.

According to reports, the Sentinels Pro has been struggling with personal and mental issues for some time. SicK also took some time off from the pro scene and wasn’t part of the Valorant Champions LCQ 2022 and VCT stage 2 Challengers. His tweets have worried his peers, and well-known people like Sick’s former teammate ShahZam also reached out to him. Kyedae, who’s also close to him, openly discussed issues with Hunter. She said during a stream:

“I’m sure you guys can see SicK is not doing well and I’m not gonna kick someone down when they’re not doing well and uh, I think you guys will understand the whole scope once everything is properly explained.”

SicK temporarily suspended from Sentinels

Sentinels have not said anything about SicK’s action due to the matter’s extreme sensitivity and intimate nature. Although the organization has not publicly addressed the situation, there have been reports that he has been suspended from the team. This means that he has not been terminated from the org. Sentinels have been working to help Hunter and his family to overcome his personal issues.

With Hunter being suspended, Sentinels is looking for a sixth member. Former OpTic player, Marved is a favorite for this spot. However, if SEN wants to invest a lot of money, they can also go for a recently released Yay. Sentinels will compete in America’s international league in a few weeks, so fans may get information about the sixth member very soon.
