Enigma Gaming has been performing extremely well in the Skyesports Souvenir 2022 Mumbai with 0 losses whatsoever.

Enigma Gaming have played all three of their matches and have won them all so they have confirmed their spot in the finals set to take place tomorrow.

Enigma slows down Velocity Gaming and shuts them down at the Skyesports Souvenir 2022

Enigma Gaming took the series in an amazing 2-1 with a dominating performance on the third map while Velocity Gaming struggled to keep up with them on the first and third maps.

Map 1 : Icebox

Enigma were quick to take the first pistol round along with the half buy. Though they lost the bonus and the first buy, they got back on their feet after the 2-2 equaliser after which Velocity Gaming were only allowed to take 2 rounds throughout the first half and the whole match as well.

DeathMaker on the nerfed Jett failed to perform as he should’ve and it could be counted as the reason as to why the team lost since the main fragging potential of the team was disabled quickly. It cannot be written off as completely his fault however as the players have barely had any time to get used to the new patch and the new Jett and Sova changes.

Enigma Gaming on the other hand seemed to be popping off and working like a well-oiled machine at the Skyesports Souvenir 2022 with excali and Rexy pulling the cart from ahead with both of them having 20 kills. Rexy being the more impressive one as he was playing on the recently nerfed Sova.

Map 2 : Fracture

Velocity were quick to take the pistol round on the map of Fracture and even though they lost the half buy to a thrifty, this time around they didn’t let it affect them and took rounds in pairs after the first loss after the pistol round throughout the first half.

Enigma picked a rather unconventional comp on this map while bringing a neon to their side played by excali. Again, an agent which has recently been nerfed. The negligence of the nerf coming into play could’ve played a role in the downfall of Enigma Gaming on this map.

Fracture

Velocity gaming on the other hand had hellff on Astra this time around who managed to bag MVP for the map while helping his teammates gain entry to the site along with Amaterasu on Breach, a necessity on Fracture.

In the second half, Velocity gained some real speed in terms of gaining rounds and took four of them in a row. IN the next couple, they did manage to plant the spike but Enigma Gaming performed some great retakes and took both the rounds away. However, it wasn’t long until Velocity would get their way and they took two consecutive rounds right after that giving them the map and bringing the match scores to 1-1.

Map 3 : Ascent

The match came down to the deciding map of Ascent where Enigma did not even let Velocity Gaming get their engines started as they took away the first half as quickly as a tornado while leaving a scattered VLT behind in an 11-1 first half.

Enigma took everything, from the first pistol round, to the half buy, to the full buys, and continued to dominate through the first half of the map.

excali was seen playing Sage to accommodate for rawfiul on Jett and he was amazing on the Chinese healer. Boasting an Average Combat Score of 300 and a headshot percentage of 41%, excali took away the MVP position for this map.

Though Deathmaker tried his best to keep his team’s head above the water by pulling an average combat score of 270, his team was unable to complement his efforts and they ended up losing the last map which was also their third and last loss of the tournament as there is no chance left for them to get into the grand finals.
