A special deluxe edition at launch accompanies most games released today. The case differs from the recently released blockbuster Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. These editions often feature additional DLC, cosmetics, skins, or other in-game bonus content for a slightly higher price. This raises the question of whether the deluxe edition of Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League is worth it.

It was released on January 30th, 2024, for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Microsoft Windows. The standard edition of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is priced at $69.99, whereas the deluxe edition will set you back $99.99.

Although this hundred-dollar price tag is a little expensive, it is standard for deluxe editions of video games of this stature. The game is set in The Batman Arkham universe and can be considered a successor to the games in the Batman Rocksteady Universe. Buying the deluxe edition will allow you to experience and immerse yourself in the gritty city of Gotham.

Is Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League deluxe edition worth it?

Purchasing the deluxe edition of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League will reward you with several in-game cosmetics and bonuses in addition to a copy of the base game. Given below is a list of everything that comes with the deluxe edition of the game.

  • A base copy of the game
  • Justice League outfits
  • Black Mask weapons
  • Weapon Dolls
  • 1x Battle Pass Token
  • No Shade Color Swatches (Digital-version only)
  • 72-hour early access (Pre-order bonus)
  • Classic Outfits (Pre-order bonus)
  • Rogue Outfits (PS5 Digital-version pre-order bonus)

The deluxe edition considers a plethora of cosmetics that feature several alluring enhancements to the base game. However, apart from the battle pass token and the three Black Mask weapons, all other bonuses are purely cosmetic in nature.

While these cosmetics are quite aesthetically pleasing, the average gamer may not find these items worth the additional investment of $40. Unless you are a hardcore fan of the DC franchise and such games, purchasing the deluxe edition is probably not worth it. The game has also been facing harsh criticism from fans for its story aspects.
