Sykkuno reveals wish to lend his voice in Demon Slayer

Right after his recent anime voice acting debut, Sykkuno revealed in a recent stream that he wishes to lend his voice to more and more anime in the future. His latest gig saw him partnering with other huge streamers such as Valkyrae, DisguisedToast, and Corpse Husband for the English dub of Tribe Nine, an action anime that revolves around high-octane baseball battles.

Despite him saying in the past that he found the process frightening, he further elaborated on his wish to lend his voice to other anime in the future. After clips of his acting went viral online, he was showered with praise from his fans worldwide and now, Sykkuno has his sights set on a role in Demon Slayer, one of the top grossing anime right now.

Sykkuno replied to a fan claiming he saw him in a bookstore

Sykkuno expressed his wishes to continue in the voice acting field by saying “I think it’s cool to be in an anime,”. He further opened up on the matter by explaining “I hope I get a small role in an anime I really like – something like Demon Slayer… Give me a random demon slayer in the background that just dies, and have me make a noise. I’m not a voice actor, but have me just be a random dude in the back.”

While the role would be fairly small, it would still be a step up from Sykkuno’s latest gig on Tribe Nine. Especially considering that Demon Slayer is one of the most popular anime airing right now. However, the streamer has definitely shown to the world that he has what it takes to voice smaller characters, even if it is for a few brief seconds.

“Just give me two brief lines and that’s it. I’m not going to be doing anything crazy, I’d just have two lines and wouldn’t even have to act,” he continued. “I’m hoping that I can get a small role that doesn’t really matter, in a show I like.” he said, pointing towards Demon Slayer.

Whether or not Sykkuno gets that role in Demon Slayer, it would certainly be a treat seeing him expanding into different fields apart from streaming and hey, who knows, maybe one day we’ll hear him screaming while his character continued to fight hellish demons.
