“This information should be public”: Pokimane updates fans on Amouranth’s status

Amouranth, one of the most popular creators on the live streaming platform Twitch, has around six million fans. Fans and other streamers, however, have voiced concern after the 28-year-old broadcasted an unsettling phone call and troubling text messages from her husband.
The streamer’s pretty shocking claims about being in what she described as an abusive marriage has taken the internet by storm. The Twitch star admittedly revealed that her husband, for the most part, has control over all their finances, and pressured her into living a facade, and threatened her.
Her Twitch stream abruptly ended when someone asked her out of blue if she had taken her prescription and walked into the room, leaving her present whereabouts unknown. Although Ludwig claims her asistant told him she is “safe and okay,” she was unable to be reached.

Pokimane on Amouranth’s situation
Pokimane recently gave her viewers an update on Amouranth’s situation via a live stream. She said she was about to contact her account manager to inquire about the streamer’s well-being and mental health, but instead, she got in touch with a someone close to the Twitch streamer, who confirmed that she is currently fine.
On October 18th Amouranth ran a brief livestream on her channel . But she stated that police had arrived at her house, thus the stream was discontinued. On the livestream’s intro screen, she wrote the following message:
"Starting soon. Cops are here, be ri..."
She then later tweeted, “someone called cops, be right back”

Jake Lucky, in a recent tweet, provided details regarding Amouranth going live stream to describe her current condition. He believes that she is trying to leave her violent husband and that the abuser is looking for assistance. On the other hand, Amouranth is looking for both legal and emotional advice.
He added , Amouranth has fully reclaimed control over all of her social media accounts.

Instead of defending the abused streamer in the midst of this dilemma, many individuals have resorted to the internet to accuse her of playing the victim card. Popular streamers have openly expressed their disagreement with the online bullies in response to this.
Valkyrae remarked, “It’s disgusting seeing the internet continue to invalidate and dehumanize victims of abuse. What Amouranth has been trapped in is very real.. especially having joint accounts, married, dealing with threats, etc. I hope she gets the freedom and relief any human in abuse deserves.“
Pokimane agreed with Valkyrae’s viewpoint. She later tweeted, “tell em“
Currently, Amouranth seems to be in a better state than before, where she has seemingly parted ways with her husband. While her husban is seeking help, Amouranth too is seeking emotional therapy.
